Greetings!
I am Jonathan Michael Huls, a Christian analytic-philosopher, theologian, and apologist. I am presently a doctoral-student at Liberty University where I also graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2019, and earned a master’s degree with high distinction in 2022.
My research, writing, and speaking explores the big ideas of ultimacy, community, and integration from a Christian worldview. I am endeavoring to understand and share how these ideas inform theology, anthropology, science, and the broader philosophy of being.
My "ultimate" goal is to consistently offer an attractive and integrated commendation of biblical Christianity in the public-square. To that end, please know that I hold our communication to be a kind of communion. It is something sacred that happens between us persons when we share meaning together. Communication has the awesome power to bind us to Reality—and to each other.
Note well that no algorithm can say "I love you" and really mean it. But I have that power, and so do you. What a gift words and sentences are! And what a gift is our common privilege to meaningfully share them together.
Where did the sacred gift of shared meaning come from? That's the big question that brings us together.
The authentic written-word is a gift that I have taken for granted all my life. No more!
